Black Pound Day

OMBAR235 headline module ST3

Black Pound Day takes place on the first Saturday of every month and was set up to support the growth of the UK Black economy. Black Pound Day invites all communities to promote and spend with Black businesses locally and online, and aims to unite all cultures and ethnicities to support Black business and strengthen the UK economy.

At Ombar we support Black Pound Day by seeking out exciting Black-owned businesses and brands that we think our customers will love and sharing them here and on social media.

This month's Black Pound Day

This Black Pound Day, instead of buying from us, we’re inviting you to support Mind The Cork.
Mind The Cork are a homeware accessory business who say that they put ‘considered craftsmanship, innovation and eco-friendly design’ at the heart of their ethos. They aim to create products that are both planet and people friendly by being inclusive, accessible and considerate of nature and the environment. We love their simple yet striking aesthetic and their choice of cork as a sustainable material.
